Royal Deeside has events all year round, from music festivals such as the Feugh Fest, to Highland Games and the Braemar gathering. 

 

The National Trust, Mar lodge and Balmoral estates all have numerous events throughout the year.

 

Sporting events abound with the Balmoral road races becoming one of the top races in Scotland attracting international athletes.  There are mountain bike races at Pitfichie, orienteering events, gliding competitions, horse riding and much more.
